Artist Bio

Adeline Lim(b.1993, Singapore) graduated with a Diploma in Fine Art from Nanyang Academy of Fine Art and has participated in the exhibition The Savour Arts at The Connoisseur Concerto (TCC) in 2016. She has volunteered for mural wall painting for Bras Basah Complex.

Artist Statement

​My artistic practice reflects my observations of the issues in the present ages. Technology and trends have altered the way we perceive things. With so many things being made convenient in our current society, technology being one of them, it makes me question if that is all we really need. Through art-making I voice my concerns, complaints and disapproval in the form of micro-writing. By doing so i intend to draw the audience in to come closer to have a full experience in viewing my works which will not be possible digitally. The purpose of my works is to question and draw attention to these issues.
